ECCLESTON STREET, ST HELENS.

Whilst building this website we came across a few photos of how Eccleston Street looked in days gone by. Those amongst us who lived through the war will remember that Eccleston Street looked very different from today.

We found photos on a family tree website (listed below) set up by somebody who wanted to find out about his and his wifes ancestors. He just happened to stumble across the history of our site too.

There are photos from the back garden of 63 Eccleston Street, which would be just about where our MOT bay enterance is, in the rear car park.

They had a nice photo of Eccleston Street from the point where Prescot Road becomes Westfield Street.
